apprentice
Requirements
- you will need to be confident and have great communication skills
- teaching qualification* appropriate for working in Post 16 Sector, and/or willingness to undergo further training
- you must have up to date technical knowledge and embrace new learning to keep your trade knowledge relevant
- an understanding of the principles underpinning teaching post 16 i.e. planning, delivery, assessment and evaluation of learning
- you need to be receptive to the business needs and encourage new opportunities for Martec training to develop
- you will ideally have previous experience teaching apprentices up to level 3 and be confident to do so
- an awareness of different learning strategies and teaching methods suitable for teaching a diverse range of abilities
- ideally qualified to Light Vehicle level 3 qualification
Responsibility
- to carry out other such duties as may be required from time to time by Management
- to support with invigilation for other subject areas, and take part in invigilation training
- to ensure that all equipment and facilities are used appropriately and safely
