Responsibility

  • the ideal candidate will have experience if installing hydraulic systems
  • marshall Jakeman Marine are currently looking for a time served mechanical/pipefitter with hydraulic pipework experience to carry out the pipefitting of their new vessel which is currently under construction
  • this is an ideal opportunity for somebody to gain experience in all types of marine piping systems and be involved in the system design and installation

Requirements

  • hydraulic pipework, cutting, bending & fitting compression fitting pipework
  • stainless- cutting, fitting and crimping mapress pipework for fresh water systems
  • carbon steel pipework – 1” and ½” schedule 40 for fuel systems
  • exhaust systems – 6” schedule 10 stainless
  • role is currently for a 12 month period, with the opportunity to become a permanent role within the operational team
  • pipefitting: 2 years
