• estimate size of donor site using densitometer along with nurses and prepares site for surgery
• assists during surgery for FUE procedure

• harvests grafts using motorised tool for FUE
• prepare and count grafts for placement manually using magnification and maintaining graft integrity throughout case
• maintains knowledge of current literature regarding hair loss and treatments
• educates patient throughout the procedure
• ensures patient is comfortable during procedure
• monitors patients for pain and bleeding during case and reports to nurse
• set-up equipment for graft placement and ensures grafts are handled and chilled appropriately
• ensures counts are accurate
• prepares scalp for placement of grafts
• assists in the placing of grafts according to physician direction
