- assist the GRC with regular vendor assessments and risk reviews
- assisting with GRC vendor performance assessments and technical security risk reviews
- network engineering, computer science, penetration testing, digital forensics) and a strong technical knowledge across various security pillars
- design, deploy, and configure Cisco network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure remote access technologies
- provide 3rd line technical support by effectively troubleshooting, diagnosing & resolving incidents for all Cisco network and security incidents
- assist GRC with performing vendor assessments and technical security risk reviews
- assess company security proposed deployment of and/or integration with Software-as-a-service SaaS solutions
- be able to confidently communicate across the Security teams including the GRC & SOC teams
- perform network security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential risks
- helping with the technical design of security systems and services to meet organizational needs
- take the technical lead on any routing and switching infrastructure related issues

- contribute to the technical design of security systems and services to meet organizational needs whilst managing risks
- build and maintain the tool and integrations for in-house SOC
- co-operate with SOC analysts & Security Engineers in different regions

- ROLE: Due to growth, this client is looking for a Security Engineer to join their growing team based in London City
- prior experience in Security Engineering and track record in carrying out technical security risk assessments
- make recommendations regarding the current configuration to help increase the levels of security within the cloud environments

- assess third-party suppliers of cloud/SaaS-based technology platforms, particularly in MFA and SSO
- troubleshoot and resolve network security issues, working closely with network administrators and other IT teams
