Responsibility
- marches Business Group’s current portfolio is comprised of eight businesses, the majority of which are in the joinery and construction industry
- our business portfolio is ever-growing, and we are passionate about using our group resources to help team members learn, adapt, and develop
- as an External Sales Executive for Marches Business Group, your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell hardware, joinery consumables, and other building products within the industry
- you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets specific to the joinery sector
- your experience in this industry, and prior knowledge of key product types, will be essential in understanding customer needs and providing effective solutions
- client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients within the industry
- sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets. Identify target markets, potential customers, and key decision-makers within the sector
Requirements
- strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the ironmongery sector
- ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- proven experience in a similar sales role within the joinery industry is desirable but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided
- knowledge of ironmongery products, including door hardware, locks, hinges, fixings, consumables, and other related accessories desirable but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided
