Responsibility
- to assist the directors in the general duties associated with the day to day running of the businesses
- roles and responsibilities will predominantly involve but will not be limited to overseeing all duties within the warehouse and coordinating and carrying out deliveries
- as a Warehouse Operative, you'll be responsible for a vital part of the supply chain process, you'll manage people, processes and systems in order to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately, and that productivity targets are met
- respond to and deal with customer, supplier and courier communication by email and telephone
- update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities to support the role
- contribute to team effort by completing general duties as required
- brief directors on a daily basis
- communicate with customers to monitor the quality of service they are receiving
Requirements
- delivery driver experience
- driving
- as Part of your role you will be required to communicate with work colleagues, suppliers, couriers and customers
- have the ability to organise the warehouse logically to enable efficiency, ease of movement and, access to stock
- previous warehouse experience
- be able to organise and plan distribution routes efficiently
- forklift License and or Counterbalance) – This will be essential moving forwards
- be able to pack pallets/deliveries efficiently and safely
