Responsibility

  • marbas is a Civil and Structural Engineering firm based with offices in both central Winchester and Bristol
  • marbas was formed in 2015 and have grown into one of the largest structural consultancies in the Winchester area
  • in 2022 we opened our second office, in central Bristol
  • our workload is very diverse and we operate in many different sectors including residential, retail, education, marine, historical and commercial
  • good understanding of building structures
  • knowledge of the limitations and benefits of different structural systems & materials
  • we are a dynamic, hardworking, friendly team that prides itself on delivering a high-quality product to its clients
  • production of design calculations and drawings with strong attention to detail

Requirements

  • educated to master’s degree level with an MSc or MEng in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • full clean driving license
  • some experience in a similar role would be advantageous, but not essential
  • good understanding of the relevant codes and standards
  • have excellent written and verbal communication with strong interpersonal and team working skills
  • experience with TEDDS, Master Series and AutoCAD would be advantageous, but not essential
