Responsibility

  • build and develop strong relationships with new and existing customers to increase and sustain growth
  • actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, social media and internet search engines
  • plan and organise a daily work schedule to call on existing customers and any potential new customers
  • be able to represent our brands confidently
  • complete weekly and monthly sales reports
  • manage key customer accounts including boatbuilders, repair yards, and retailers
  • attend industry events and conferences to build networks and promote the company's products
  • work closely with our sales director, customer service team and key personnel in other departments to ensure our customers and our suppliers needs are exceeded

Requirements

  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • be respectful of our customers needs, enhancing our company's great reputation
  • be a first class closer with excellent communication skills
  • full U.K. driving license with no more than three penalty points
  • the ideal candidate must possess a sound knowledge of the UK marine market or have a strong sales background coupled with some yachting, powerboating and/or angling experience
