Responsibility
- we are very excited to announce that we are looking to recruit an Events Manager for a new project
- the Manager will be the focal person for members and other stakeholders, including individual presenters
- the Manager will work with the local events company to organize and provide the virtual meeting technology support as needed
- the Manager in conjunction with the Executive Director will be responsible for a post-event evaluation of the effectiveness of the event
- the HSG Events Manager role will lead and manage the establishment and running of the biennial Health Systems Research symposium in Japan in November 2024
- they will be responsible for organising the symposium, liaising and consulting with the Symposium Executive Committee, the Symposium Programme Working Group, Technical Working Groups and Regional Networks on the strategy, content and objectives of the event
- the Manager will coordinate with the local organising committee within the host country and to establish and manage the event workplan in conjunction with a locally procured events company
- the Manager, supported by the Research Advisor, will work with the Board level Symposium Executive and Programme Working Groups, to design and manage the event programme, coordinate and organise all speakers, work with local events company as needed as well as with the HSG communications team
