Responsibility
- we often have football or cricket matches every Saturday and Sunday throughout the season
- we also have other nights where regular functions are held
- we are looking for someone to organise and control the staffing of the bar for these times
- maintain a safe and clean environment by enforcing health and safety standards
- manage and maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure a well-stocked bar and kitchen
- ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including tables, chairs, and equipment
- implement pricing strategies agreed by committee that maximise profitability while remaining competitive
- conduct regular staff meetings to communicate expectations and provide feedback
Requirements
- over 18 years of age only can apply
- prior experience in bar or restaurant management is preferred
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- knowledge of local alcohol laws and regulations
- leadership and team management abilities
- flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required
- bar management: 1 year
