- mains 2 drains utility and building services is a medium sized company working throughout Central Scotland
- all jobs are to be left clean and tidy and reports made to the manager
- experience required
- using excavators and plant machinery is required
- experience in reading drawings and quantifying materials
- the right candidate should have an in depth knowledge of preparing sites from start to finish and be able to run the project to a budget and timeline. You will be working with 2 -4 other employees depending on the size of the job
- works to include - preparing site and initial setting out, demolition works, groundworks - foundations,excavations, drainage installations, slapping and structural works, brick and block laying
Requirements
- previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- strong knowledge of construction or related industry
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications
- proficient in using construction tools and equipment
- knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
- problem-solving skills to address issues that may arise on the job site
