- assisting in the set-up of a property management arm of the business
- direct management responsibility as the team grows
- dealing with repair and maintenance issues
- carrying out property inspections and compiling inspection reports for landlords alongside the Inventory Clerk
- booking gas, electric and EPC certificates
- contacting utility companies
- organising move-in and move-out of tenants
- organising cleaning companies
Requirements
- experience in managing a team
- motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- property sector designation would be desirable
- ability to develop positive working relationships with team members, members of staff from other lettings offices and contractors
- negotiation skills and commercial acumen
- strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
