Responsibility
- set up and maintain station with all necessary supplies
- prepare, serve, and clean stations according to established procedures
- maintain a clean station by washing dishes, sanitizing, sweeping, and mopping as needed
- receive, process, label and store food properly
- work with other chefs to improve food quality and efficiency
- maggie Mays Chippy are looking for an experienced chef/cook who strives under a busy work environment to join the team. Must have at least a years experience in a fast paced kitchen and have a high standard of quality of service & food
- work as a team player to ensure that all chefs are successful in running their restaurants
- maintain your health by following the standard health practices described in thecue's health policies and procedures manual
Requirements
- proven experience as a chef or restaurant chef preferred but not required
- knowledge of various kitchen equipment as well as other cooking methods/ techniques
- understanding of food safety practices and best food handling techniques
- excellent record of restaurant/hospitality/staff experience
