Responsibility
- to drive the delivery of our Climate Change Strategic Framework and Zero Carbon Strategy
- to support the company's aim of developing Magenta Communities as a model of customer excellence, by managing the Community Regeneration Team to deliver excellent, modern services in relation to customer engagement and scrutiny, employment, skills and enterprise and community resources
- work with the Head of Asset Strategy & Sustainability to develop a comprehensive retrofit programme designed to deliver annual measurable improvements to the energy performance of our homes, whilst ensuring adherence to new and emerging government policy and associated regulations

- creating, developing, and managing a comprehensive and integrated suite of data to facilitate the development of a comprehensive Proactive Asset Management Strategy, Climate Change Strategic Framework and Zero Carbon Strategy
- to support the Head of Community Regeneration to agree with customers and set out the organisation`s joint customer engagement offer and widely promote this to customers and colleagues to maximise take up
- taking account of the sustainability of assets, ensuring the assets are fit for purpose for current and future customers and meet statutory and regulatory requirements
- to ensure that the organisation reviews and delivers corporate community regeneration, home ownership and customer engagement strategic policies, and facilitates the setting, monitoring and communicating of relevant aims and objectives throughout the organisation
- lead innovation in sustainability for existing homes and neighbourhoods, working with colleagues to develop relevant research and pilots to help inform our approach to sustainability
- to ensure all formal and informal mechanisms for customer engagement and scrutiny are adequately resourced, fit for purpose and achieve best practice
- to represent the organisation in a positive light at external events and meetings and protect and enhance the organisation`s reputation to all stakeholders
- to carry out such duties commensurate with the grade as may be required
- to proactively manage the organisational approaches to leaseholder management, Right to Buy/Acquire, commercial property management, shared ownership management and policy development in order to create good practice
- to ensure the community regeneration team contributes to the organisation's value for money strategy and to manage staff and budgets to this end, including managing spend against team budgets
- ensure that accurate/ certified data, certification is in place and held within the organisations systems
Requirements
- full driving licence and use of car for work purposes
- at least 2 years' experience in a role in housing or related field
- ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of agencies and with stakeholders at all levels
