cnc machinist
Responsibility
- operate CNC machines to produce high-precision components according to specifications
- program and set CNC lathes and/or milling machines - Fanuc/Siemens control
- interpret technical drawings and CAD designs
- use hand tools and power tools for finishing processes as required
- conduct regular inspections of machined parts to ensure adherence to quality standards
- perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production
- collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency
- maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety regulations
Requirements
- proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role within a manufacturing environment
- strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate turning centers and understand tooling requirements
- familiarity with sub-spindle lathes is an advantage
- competence in operating varying industrial equipment
- excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- strong problem-solving skills with the capability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently
