Responsibility
- control the incoming and outgoing monies of the business and have a full grasp over the entirety of the company
- proficient in using Xero and keeping our Xero accounts up to date
- processing payments, invoices, incomes and receipts. Filing hard copies
- utilising the staff within the offices to produce any management figures and expectations
- monitoring financial transactions and reports
- record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- completing VAT returns
- preparing finance statements including cash flow, profit/ loss and balance expenditure
Requirements
- AAT Level 2 qualified or proven work history in a similar role
- good written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for details and accuracy
- self motived to manage own workload
- experience in having done bookkeeping for a food/drinks company would be adventitious
- bookkeeping: 1 year
