Responsibility

  • preparation of quarterly vat returns from source records on Microsoft Excel and through Quickbooks software
  • payroll and Pension processing for multiple businesses using payroll software, weekly and monthly payrolls
  • good team player needed to help in busy small accountancy practice
  • basic Administrative and office duties such as filing confirmation statements, requesting HMRC authorisation/registration for clients, sending out engagement letters and performing AML checks for new and existing clients

Requirements

  • must have a minimum of one years UK practice experience
  • must have some basic knowledge in preparing UK VAT returns for the retail, food and hospitality sector
  • must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel
  • strong attention to detail
  • good numeracy, literacy and computer literacy skills
  • good communication skills as inbound and outbound calls may need to be made from time to time
