- full-time
Responsibility
- review and submit annual financial statements and accounts in compliance with statutory obligations and deadlines to the Irish Revenue
- manage and coordinate monthly reporting, budgeting, and reforecast processes
- ensure accurate and timely submission of CT and VAT returns to the Irish Revenue
- liaise with the Irish Revenue on behalf of the company to handle any tax-related inquiries or issues
- develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies
- conduct continuous analysis of financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
- provide strategic advice to management on tax planning and implications of business decisions
Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- membership in a professional body like ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent
- minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and taxation, ideally in a corporate setting
- extensive knowledge of the Irish taxation system, especially regarding CT and VAT regulations
- experience with accounting software
- strong analytical skills with a thorough detail orientation
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong knowledge of financial reporting
