- process warranty claims in a timely manner for each franchise
- verifies warranty criteria provided by the manufacturer
- reconciles warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule
- follow up on payments of outstanding claims
- resubmits all rejected claims or seeks authorisation to write them off
- arranges for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor to be scrapped
- files and maintains all service records as required by the warrantor
