  • ensure that new website functionality and enhancements are researched and tested effectively
  • support the launch of creative marketing campaigns and local partnerships throughout the year

  • ensure website and app content is up to date from a sales and service perspective, includes the writing of both informational and inspirational copy to meet the needs of both customers and search engines
  • assist in developing the cost-effective implementation of the Lumo marketing strategy to deliver business revenue targets, with an emphasis on encouraging modal shift to rail
  • to assist in the delivering the digital marketing channels including PPC, Display and SEO. Ensuring campaigns are up to date, fully optimised and managed effectively by the digital agency
  • working with third-party agencies & retail channels to deliver best value for money and ensure revenue and business targets are met

Requirements

  • educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • willing to or working towards a Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma
  • ideally experience in a results focused business but training and support will be given
  • experience of delivering acquisition campaigns online
  • experience of data manipulation and analytics
  • commercially & digitally astute with good judgment and decision-making abilities
  • an understanding of transport, hospitality, tourism or leisure marketing
  • strong analytical skills to use data interpretation and customer insight to identify new opportunities for the business

  • attend and represent Lumo and Hull Trains in industry wide discussions associated with ECDP

  • attend reliability and performance meetings
  • review all incidents reported within the control log by collating evidence from the maintainer, Route Control, Train Crew, and any other pertinent source, and commence attribution discussions with relevant internal or external departments
