Responsibility
- create clear and concise design documentation and visual materials that describe content, mechanics, systems, and features
- we are looking for a Sound Designer to join our growing audio team
- design and develop game mechanics to meet the project’s goals

- balance and tune game mechanics to ensure the game is fun, engaging and rewarding
- work closely with the a testing community to ensure that we're making the experience better based on their sentiment
- to create and implement high quality assets into our games
- work with other departments to ensure the game meets the technical requirements
- you will help determine the conventions, processes and practices used to create the product from inception to final balancing
- be involved in audio system design
- design and implement new features and content to keep the game up to date
- implement strategies to optimize player engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction through effective gameplay design and mechanics
- to communicate needs and designs to other departments, such as game design and programmers

- pro-actively contribute to the quality of the entire game
- to be engaged and occasionally involved in the music and dialogue sides of audio for our games

- help assess the progress, quality and user friendliness of the game throughout it’s life via a range of methods
- to be part of cinematic pipelines when appropriate
- location: Liverpool
- the ideal candidate would have at least one high quality game title under their belt; and are as happy getting stuck into technical issues, as they are creating assets for that killer new feature
- to work in the studio when required, such as finalizing assets and periods of mixing
- take an active part in managing documentation and task tracking workflows
- required Experience
- experience working in an audio role at a games studio
- A proven track record of designing and implementing high quality assets / systems
- good knowledge of Wwise
- experience implementing audio into UE5 or equivalent game engine
- experience with audio production and implementation across a range of game features
Requirements
- experience in game design in the games industry
- currently in your 2nd year of university
- proficiency with game engines such as Unreal or Unity
