- processing a high number of supplier invoices daily, using 3-way matching
- chasing departments for invoice approvals in a timely manner to ensure invoices are paid within payment terms
- run supplier payments, checking all reports are correct and generating through sage 200
- my client is looking for a temp to perm Accounts Payable Assistant, to join their team in Moorgate. The role is office based initially and then some hybrid working may be offered
- ensure remittances are sent out in a timely manner
- complete supplier statement recs frequently and deal/communicate with suppliers with any issues with invoices
- review aged creditor reports and reconcile supplier accounts
- review staff expenses and ensure the correct nominal codes are used
Requirements
- knowledge of accounts payable
- knowledge of relevant accounting software, ideally Sage 200
- attention to detail and accuracy
- confidence to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- ability to work independently and within the team
- ability to organise time and workloads
- maintain good communication lines within your department and throughout the company
- purchase ledger: 1 year
