Requirements

  • expectation of 8-12 hours per week, however exact number of weekly hours will be discussed at interview stage
  • previous experience in cleaning preferred, but not required as training will be provided
  • strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
  • A level of physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of duties
  • reliable transportation to and from work
  • some flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings and weekends depending on centre needs
  • position is subject to completion of enhanced DBS check and satisfactory employment references

Responsibility

  • using buffer machine to ensure high-use floors are kept in good condition
  • restocking supplies in toilets and ensuring adequate tea/coffee making facilities are available for guests where required
  • emptying rubbish and recycling receptacles and disposing of waste properly
  • reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the centre coordinator
