Requirements
- full UK Driving License; preferably clean
- you will be a logical and methodical thinker who wants to follow the rules, do things correctly and within set timeframes
- minimum AAT Level 3 completed, or equivalent
- your attention to detail will be high and you will finish one task prior to starting the next
- experience of bookkeeping systems and processes
- excellent IT Skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- proven experience, with examples, of prioritising workloads and successfully meeting all expectations while working to tight deadlines
- excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Responsibility
- timely completion of bookkeeping tasks on behalf of our clients
- preparation of periodic reconciliations of bank, debtor and creditor balances
- preparing and submitting of VAT and CIS returns to deadline with all accompanying documentation
- working with clients to resolve queries and request missing information
- liaising directly on behalf of the client with their customers, suppliers and employees in a professional manner
- assisting towards the preparation of monthly management accounts, year end accounts and tax returns
