• lovat House Dental Practice have an exciting new opening for a Qualified Dental Nurse to join our expanding, friendly and long-established team
• we offer the support of training, approachable leadership, and a fully funded Dental Nurse course as part of a permanent role. You will have access to a fully funded accredited training programme
• responsibility for the cleanliness of the surgery and equipment
• job Title: Dental Nurse Saturday Nurse 8.45am-2.15pm
• we are looking for an applicant with a fun and positive attitude who enjoys taking responsibilities within their role, and who wants to work at a modern private practice in the heart of Cheltenham
• ensuring the practice cross-infection policy is adhered to
• the role will include providing exceptional chairside support and patient care whilst carrying out clinical duties alongside our clinicians. The successful applicant will work with one of our hygienists
• maintaining a clinical environment
• monitoring stock and maintaining records
• to process lab requests, including x-rays
• to assist with clinical notes
• provide patients the correct information about appointments, treatments and care
• assist working on reception, taking calls, booking appointments and daily admin tasks
• any other duties that the practice may require
• you must be dedicated to starting a career in Dental Nursing, able to commit to a 12 month + vocational training programme, be comfortable working in a clinical environment and have excellent interpersonal skills
• assist creating same day CEREC crowns with our in-practice milling machine and furnace
• assist creating same day Cerec crowns with our in-practice milling machine and furnace
• attend all training and practice meetings
• covering reception and other practice duties
• to receive and prepare patients for treatment

Requirements

• GDC registration preferred and be able to provide all relevant certificates and hep B immunisations
• we will consider nurses currently on a training course working towards their qualification
