Responsibility
we are looking for a creative and ambitious Senior Sous to join the team and assist the Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen
working in an open kitchen with a small friendly team you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen in terms of quality of dishes, EHO standards and HAACP as well as take a keen interest in nurturing and growing the existing team to develop their skills and maintain a positive and supportive kitchen culture
you will work closely with the head Chef to develop the menu which changes twice annually as well as have creative input on one off events and external offerings
we are looking for someone with Sous Chef or Senior Sous experience, ideally within a high-volume restaurant kitchen, with a focus on quality and a passion for creating fresh, seasonal and flavour-led food
assist in inventory management, ordering supplies and controlling food costs
