Responsibility
- we are looking for a creative and ambitious Senior Sous to join the team and assist the Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen
- working in an open kitchen with a small friendly team you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen in terms of quality of dishes, EHO standards and HAACP as well as take a keen interest in nurturing and growing the existing team to develop their skills and maintain a positive and supportive kitchen culture
- you will work closely with the head Chef to develop the menu which changes twice annually as well as have creative input on one off events and external offerings
- we are looking for someone with Sous Chef or Senior Sous experience, ideally within a high-volume restaurant kitchen, with a focus on quality and a passion for creating fresh, seasonal and flavour-led food
- assist in inventory management, ordering supplies and controlling food costs
