- degree or equivalent in furniture design, product design or similar
- working knowledge of 2D AutoCAD
- knowledge of SolidWorks or Sketchup advantageous
- an aptitude for technical design and keen eye for detail
- A genuine interest in furniture design and bespoke furniture making
- A can-do attitude and an ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Responsibility
- assisting the design team in the creation of technical drawings from concept to manufacture, predominantly using 2D AutoCAD
- researching materials and other products
- printing project documents, collating files and organising technical libraries
- attend cross-functional project meetings together with other members of the design team
- carry out general administrative duties within the design office as required
