Responsibility

  • answering calls efficiently and directing enquiries appropriately
  • checking suppliers have orders and requesting order acknowledgements
  • purchasing/Sales related reporting and administration as required
  • regular liaison with suppliers, stores and internal teams
  • general office duties as required e.g Filing/photocopying
  • track orders due in, liaising with suppliers on a regular basis for updates and information and chasing late or no show deliveries on a daily basis

Requirements

  • excellent telephone manner – polite, professional and courteous at all times
  • confident dealing with customers and demonstrates good customer service skills
  • organised, punctual and reliable
  • good Interpersonal skills with some office experience
  • able to prioritise and multitask
  • professional attitude and appearance
  • some experience of purchasing with an interest in procurement is desirable
