Responsibility
identify and prospect potential corporate partners and sponsors aligned with the team's brand values and target audience
develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy to drive revenue growth and create long-term mutually beneficial relationships
conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and partnership opportunities
build a robust pipeline of prospects and maintain a database of potential partners
lead negotiations with prospective sponsors and partners, ensuring alignment with the team's objectives and financial targets
prepare and present sponsorship proposals, tailored to the needs and objectives of each potential partner
collaborate with legal and finance departments to draft and execute sponsorship agreements, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations
identify and capitalise on revenue-generating opportunities within partnership agreements, such as promotional activities, co-branded initiatives, and hospitality offerings
Requirements
essential
bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sports management, or a related field
proven experience in sponsorship sales, partnership development, or related roles within the sports or entertainment industry
strong understanding of sponsorship and partnership marketing principles and best practices
excellent negotiation and contract management skills
demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate clients and stakeholders
strong business acumen and financial understanding to assess partnership opportunities and deliver on revenue targets
excellent communication and presentation skills
