Responsibility

  • identify and prospect potential corporate partners and sponsors aligned with the team's brand values and target audience
  • develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy to drive revenue growth and create long-term mutually beneficial relationships
  • conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and partnership opportunities
  • build a robust pipeline of prospects and maintain a database of potential partners
  • lead negotiations with prospective sponsors and partners, ensuring alignment with the team's objectives and financial targets
  • prepare and present sponsorship proposals, tailored to the needs and objectives of each potential partner
  • collaborate with legal and finance departments to draft and execute sponsorship agreements, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations
  • identify and capitalise on revenue-generating opportunities within partnership agreements, such as promotional activities, co-branded initiatives, and hospitality offerings

Requirements

  • essential
  • bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sports management, or a related field
  • proven experience in sponsorship sales, partnership development, or related roles within the sports or entertainment industry
  • strong understanding of sponsorship and partnership marketing principles and best practices
  • excellent negotiation and contract management skills
  • demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate clients and stakeholders
  • strong business acumen and financial understanding to assess partnership opportunities and deliver on revenue targets
  • excellent communication and presentation skills
