Requirements
at least 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, including knowledge of all food preparation methods, equipment, and recipes
A passion for food and a commitment to creating quality food
ability to work under pressure and remain calm under stress
ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
ability to work well as part of a team and lead by example
must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
must be able to pass a background check and drug test
must be able to work in a high-volume restaurant setting
Responsibility
the Sous Chef is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the kitchen and assisting the Executive Chef with the daily food service and operations
other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or management team
ensure that all food is prepared according to company recipes and procedures
maintain cleanliness of kitchen area including dish machines, sanitizing utensils, cutting equipment, ovens and grills
