Responsibility
- locomotive Services Group are currently looking to recruit a Diesel Locomotive Engineer to join our expanding organisation
- existing knowledge of heritage diesel locomotives is an essential requirement for these roles
- candidates must be enthusiastic and highly motivated
- the role will involve mechanical fitting and electrical work in all aspects of Diesel Locomotive maintenance
- in return we offer an exciting position supporting our group’s main line railway operations
- supporting operational service delivery of charter and other services to support wider rail group activities
- day to day execution of routine maintenance, repairs, and modifications to our growing fleet of diesel locomotives, including Classes 20, 37,47 and 57
Requirements
- time served engineer with relevant post qualifying experience of diesel locomotive engineering
- dual role capability
- medically fit with either existing or ability to obtain Personal Track Safety certification
- proven team working ability
- mechanical engineering: 1 year
