Responsibility
- read works order instructions, selecting appropriate materials and batches to maintain quality control
- read drawings and relevant CNC programmes and use Fanuc based controllers to set up the waterjet machines
- ensure production schedules are met and to notify management when any issues arise which could cause disruption
- responsible for good housekeeping ensuring equipment & areas are tidy and follow all safety procedures during operation
- detect equipment faults or machine defects and report to management when necessary
- responsible for the operation of the waterjet machines, setting & adjusting offsets to maintain tolerances for the accurate production of profiled parts
- carry out daily checks of the machine equipment and immediately report any faults to management
- maintain the machines when necessary. Full training will be provided
