- update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications
- proactive interaction with all company Production, Quality and Engineering departments with regards to operations, product trends, troubleshooting, performances, etc
- drive the development of manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors
- promote continuous improvements and cost reduction initiatives, maximise productivity and a positive work ethic
- all other duties that may be required in the efficient operation of the workshop and production aspect of the business
- promote a strong customer care ethic and maintain good rapport with customers by examining complaints and NCRs; identifying solutions; suggesting and implementing improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements
- regular collaboration and discussions with all team members and participation in achieving business or corporate goals
