Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • due to expansion, we are looking for a Technical Paraplanner to complement our existing team
  • we already have a team of trainee Advisers and will require a Paraplanner to support this team after their qualification
  • therefore, our new Paraplanner will have a very important role to play and will be valued as such
  • at Lloyd & Co. Financial Planning we are passionate about our profession. Our ethos is focused firmly on our clients happiness. We place our client’s hopes, goals and aspirations at the heart of our planning
  • other than that, the role is as you would expect and all the usual Paraplanning activities are applicable as below
  • collating of client data to provide a detailed client overview
  • forensic Analysis of Client Factfind, Ceding Scheme Information and Clients Objectives to provide basis for research and solutions
  • our Paraplanner must delight in the technical and forensic side of Financial Planning and not view the role as a steppingstone to advice

Requirements

  • ability to create, analyse and interpret data, which includes both hard and soft facts, to facilitate a detailed advice process
  • excellent communication skills to both internal and external partners, as well as clients
  • ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and to show tact and empathy with clients and team alike
  • high level of IT competency including the ability to effectively use a variety of software
  • confidence to direct the administration function and to present ideas to advisers and the senior management team
