Requirements
- applicants must hold a minimum of Level 3 training in early childhood. Safeguarding and SENCo qualifications are desirable
- experience of working in a senior role with the ability to lead and motivate staff
- experience of leading staff and the ability to communicate effectively
- 3 years experience in an early years setting
- knowledge of the EYFS welfare requirements
- have the ability to work under pressure
Responsibility
- we are looking for a Maternity cover deputy manager from February 2024. Candidates have the opportunity to continue employment with Little Twisters as a room leader following successful completion of the deputy role
- we are looking for a highly motivated and focused team member who has a passion for the early years and an ability to manage their time to support room staff on the nursery floor alongside health and safety tasks and working alongside parents
- experience in a senior role is required, ongoing training will be provided to support professional development in areas such as Special Educational Needs and Early Help
- staff being effectively deployed throughout the nursery
- daily health and safety checks throughout the whole nursery
- daily fire escape route checks
- ensure food hygiene standards are maintained
- ensure security of the children and premises are upheld
