Responsibility
- we are looking for an experienced individual, with either previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Room Leader
- we recognise what an important role we play in each child’s development
- most of all, we want our children to be happy, confident and secure
- scallywags Day Nursery in Oakham currently have a vacancy for a Deputy Manager who is qualified to at least Level 3 in Childcare
- at Scallywags we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of day care and nursery education from 6 weeks to 5 years
Requirements
- to Support the Manager in the day-today running of the nursery
- provide Children with a safe, secure and stimulating environment
- to help manage the team effectively, to agree and set team goals and monitor the achievement of progress against targets
- to fulfil legal and statutory requirements and to supervise staff on a daily basis
- to monitor and assess the quality of provision, ensuring that policies and procedures, best practice and standards are maintained
- to communicate and liaise with parents/ carers professionally
- childcare: 2 years
- deputy Manager or Room Leader: 1 year
