Education
- GCSE or equivalent
- leading a team of passionate educators and ensuring the smooth running of the baby room
- creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters children's growth and development
- implementing the Montessori philosophy and methodology in daily activities, fostering independence, curiosity and a love for learning
- planning and delivering age-appropriate activities and experiences that encourage creativity, social interaction, and cognitive development
- monitoring children's progress and maintaining accurate records of their achievements
- collaborating with parents/guardians to ensure effective communication and understanding of each child's individual needs
Requirements
- experience working in a nursery setting as a Room Leader or a similar leadership role
- minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
- A genuine passion for working with children and a strong understanding of their developmental needs
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members
- knowledge and familiarity with Montessori principles and practices
- ability to work full time, 40 hours per week, across 4 days
- nursery experience: 2 years
- childcare: 2 years
