Requirements
- minimum 1 year’ experience of working in a Baby Room of a nursery/early years setting
- good knowledge of the EYFS
- willing to progress in terms of leadership within the company
- hold a full and relevant early years and childcare qualification at Level 3 or above , or equivalent qualification
- nursery: 3 years
- baby Room: 3 years
- NOTE: NNEB/QTS is accepted
Responsibility
- monitor babies’ progress to ensure they reach their developmental targets
- plan and create activities which keep babies engaged throughout the day
- enable babies to become more independent
- help prepare babies for the transition into ther Toddler Room
- oversee a team of 4 to 6 Nursery Practitioners
- protect and promote the health and well-being of all children
- be a ‘key person’ to a small group of babies and build positive relationships with their families
- ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed
