Supervisor (Personalisation Department - Jewellery & Engraving) - 3 month Norwich
The Personalisation Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the Team Manager in the day-to-day running of the production team.Main ResponsibilitiesAssisting with managing and motivating a team to ensure efficiency and maximum outputDaily monitoring of the jewellery making, printing and engraving departments and assisting where needed.Reviewing the job/order queue and ensuring all products are made within the specified time frame.Monitoring machine maintenance and ensuring company standards are met.Supporting the Manager and covering in their absenceAssisting with staffing such as interviewing potential staff, holidays, staff rotas, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organising training and developmentMonitoring stock levels and making key decisions about stock controlLiasing with the quality control department and reviewing any concerns for product or personalisation quality.Monitoring stock/material waste and highlighting or rectifying any issues.Ensuring standards for product quality, customer service and health and safety are metTouring the production area regularly, communicating with colleagues and identifying or resolving urgent issues.And any other duties that may be required by the Company from time to time.The successful Personalisation Supervisor will have the following attributes:The ability to lead and motivate a teamHave good attention to detail when producing jewelleryA friendly and engaging personalityComfortable working with members of the team and other members of staffA strong commitment to customer service and qualityA confident mannerMust be helpful and politeHave a smart appearance and articulateBe comfortable using equipment such as engraving machine etcBe reliable and trustworthyBe flex
