Responsibility
oversee the day-to-day resource allocation to meet business and customer needs
recruitment, mentoring and development of the Customer Experience Team in conjunction with Head of Customer Experience and Logistics
create a culture of continual improvement, putting the customer first and implementation of best practice
working alongside the Head of department, develop strategies to deal with high volumes of customer enquiries efficiently and effectively
line management of the Customer Experience Coordinators
departmental point of contact for team or internal /external customer escalations
provide monthly updates to Head of Department on department milestones and progress on projects, objectives and other key tasks
provide cover for the work of the team as and when required
Requirements
strong leadership and relationship management skills with the desire and ability to initiate and drive change
continuous improvement “champion”
excellent working knowledge of MS Office and customer software databases, continuous improvement tools & techniques
proactive and confident with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
strong, proven and recent experience of managing multiple medium to large teams to meet high levels of service
high level of accuracy and attention to detail
the professionalism and gravitas to act as a role model, establish credibility and respect, building strong working relationships with department managers and teams
ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
