  • mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, or other adhesives using hand tools or trowels
  • install tile on walls, floors, ceilings, countertops, patios, and other surfaces
  • grout and seal tile joints
  • inspect work to ensure that it meets specifications and building codes
