Responsibility

  • conducts regular sales call for targeted accounts, identify business opportunities for logistics requirement and update Core-log report
  • create a well-planned sales presentation to new clients to show 3PL/Contract Logistics capabilities
  • develop and exchange sales leads with other offices if necessary, specially on accounts which have regional decision impact
  • conducts cost comparison studies to evaluate our service against competitors vs. rate offer
  • maintain clients’ portfolio. Accommodates their complaints and request along our line of service specially for Contract Logistics
  • accomplish daily activity reports to inform management of clients’ feedback and to complement proper plan of action for client’s request
  • prepare quotations / tender/ bidding/ RFQ/ RFI as requested by customers and liaise with the Regional Manager Contract Logistics Solutions for rate approval
  • monitor competitor’s market share in terms of logistics services and identifying reason for lost accounts or lost business opportunities

Requirements

  • have strong track record in sales and business acumen
  • excellent in interpersonal and communication skills
  • self motivated and disciplined with the ability to work with one’s own initiative and as part of a team
  • equivalent experience at least 5 years in Warehouse & Inventory Management, Distribution or Fleet Management & preferably came from a fast phase 3PL company
  • logistics Sales: 2 years
  • minimum of 3 years experience in the international freight forwarding industry and knowledgeable in all facets of Air/Sea Import and Export operations
