Responsibility
- managing and maintaining a safe learning environment for children to learn organically through their interests and play
- leading a room and supporting staff to deliver Froebelian practice
- be responsible for the room and meet targets outlined by your manager
- foster positive relationships with your team, children and families
- communicate effectively to families on children’s development through documentation and learning stories
- ensure all staff understand safeguarding and health and safety policies relevant to their role and implement procedures effectively

Requirements
- A Level 3 full and relevant qualification in Childcare such as EYE, NVQ, CACHE or recognised equivalent
- A good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- understanding of the Froebelian approach
- experience working in a nursery environment
- the right to work in the UK and a clear enhanced DBS
- experience managing a room in a nursery environment
- experience of safeguarding and health and safety policies and procedures within a nursery environment
- nursery: 1 year
