Having worked with the company for some time now I am pleased that I work for them.

Each day is different and brings a new set of challenges.

Everyone that I have had dealings with has been great, from other support staff, to managers to maintenance. There is never a silly question. Anytime I have had to approach management for support they have been there and helped.

Would give 0 stars if it was possible. The company are awful. They dont care and dont even try and hide that they dont care
Unsafe staffing levels, covering wake nights with sleep in staff, management not attending any service to offer hands on support which is not only uncaring but just plain rude.
I doubt the people being supported even know who the "people" in management are
It is unbelievable to have such awful unkind people in those positions.
If you are considering a job at limesdale I recommend you dont for your own sake and sanity.

AwFUL

As an employee of a few years my concerns are that they are completely incompetent. I didn't have much knowledge of the care industry when I started but as time went on I realised how awful they are. There is no care from the management, none at all. They are heartless and rude. I haven't had enough training for my role and had to source my own training and Google a lot of things and from Google it is obvious they are not really legally doing things correctly . They don't have a good reputation and it is obvious why they dont. Their structure isn't right and they expect too much without actually providing the training. Heidi is rude and aggressive, Nichola is dismissive and unavailable, as well as incompetent. And Zane is never to be seen, and when he is around he clearly demonstrates his lack of knowledge of the care sector. Awful, vile people and its disappointing they have authority and say over vulnerable people who really deserve so much better.

I worked for the company when it started. There was always issues. But when anyone raised concerns it was swept under the carpet.. no one seems to care which is really horrible as care staff because you want to care.. they ended uo not giving me my contracted hours which I've since learnt is illegal but they probably did it coz they was scared I knew too much of how horrible they were.. absolutely avoid this company on any level they only care about money . I've tried for so long to get people to see how bad they are and this seems to be the only outlet that allows true and accurate information

What i would like to warn others about is the incredible lack of knowledge of the care sector, along with their inability to care or want to support anyone who is vulnerable. I unfortunately worked for them for over 2 years and I had no positive experiences with management, they spend the vast majority of their time in an office based miles from most services. The manager who tells people she is registered as a manager, but legally isn't registered because the company isn't cqc registered, is woefully incompetent. She has no idea how to support mentally struggling individuals because she just doesn't care enough to get herself involved. It would be beneficial to new staff to ask her how often she attends any of the services and how well she knows the people she is supposedly supporting. Along with her disgraceful attempt at being a manager the owner of the company is more interested in lining his pockets than actually caring, which isn't surprising for company owners, but his diabolical attempt at trying to convey he cares is even more pathetic. There are service users that need in depth individual support but it would cost too much to employ more staff.. when staff were requesting manager support for specific situations it was never given. My entire experience with this company is negative.

An incredible amount of time has gone in to making sure previous employee reviews are made to look like scorned ex employees.. this is not the case. The vast majority of staff previous and current despise the company and it's tyrant senior support... most current employees remain for personal circumstances not because they enjoy working there. Most staff have worked in care for many years, if you were to ask any of them how they feel about this abysmal attempt of a care provider they would tell you it is awful.

Communication

public relations department employee 25-05-2025 13:06
The manager doesn't even tell staff when a new service User is moving in to a house.

Equal rights

If you are a carer who really loves helping others and wants to protect and safeguard vulnerable adults then my advice would be to NOT work for limesdale. The manager and CEO are corrupt and value money over people and safety. The office staff is clueless about the care sector too, the 3 of them are toxic and are dangerous to work for. The manager does not attend any of the services and does not listen to staff concerns or client concerns. There are elements of narcissism throughout the "management " team, they might appear friendly at interview but the minute you raise any kind of concern or issue they dismiss you. They do not help staff at all, do not provide training that is adequate for the needs of the services and would prefer to allow untrained staff to deal with situations way beyond their means and control. The most disgraceful company in the care sector I have ever had the displeasure of working for. Grossly unorganised and disgusting approach to staff and client safety.

If you would like to work in a place where you are ridiculed, there is no such thing as support, the managers are useless and just there to fill a position(also liars and manipulators),Limesdale is the place
Forget being respected and valued.Forget the duty of care that managers should have. You are in Limesdale to babysit aggressive residents (with full capacity) and also,to be treated as a small slave.
By Health and Safety act, this company failed miserably. The big manager,Sherill, will make you feel like a small insect and most likely, she will step on you.
If you are a masochist, this is the place for you as you will be seen as an object.
If you would love to babysit people that are allowed to drink alcohol at 9:00 in the morning just after medication and also fear for the fact that you might get hit, this is the place.
Go work as a cleaner somewhere as Limesdale is a place that offers no progression, you dont matter as an individual and if you ask for support you will be told:"We are not therapists,go check with them"
Good luck,you will need it"

The company are awful they do not care at all about service users and refuse to provide adequate training. They allow violent service Users to live in services where other people living there have expressed they are scared of him a refuse to provide challenging behaviour training because it's too expensive.. if anyone dares to challenge their thought process they are dismissed.. largely under unlawful dismissal due to the health and safety act.
