Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- MDU block cabling, with network and typology consideration
- front of House representation, offering a clear and defined technical representation
- ensure Lightning Fibre’s compliance with all Openreach PIA engineering principles
- facilitate Lightning Fibre’s PIA process which includes but is not limited to; NOIs, reporting and network adjustments
- optimising traditional design with PIA opportunities including use of Poles for last drop
- design through to build co-ordination in collaboration with the wider operations team
- progress reporting and accurate forecasting for in-house and external work streams
Education
- access network planning experience – Civil design, building regulations and fibre optic architecture experience
- external site survey experience; NRSWA, Unit 2 Street Works Signing, Lighting & Guarding accreditation
- experience and proficient user of GIS tools, specifically for FTTx design
- working knowledge of PON and splitter capacity planning in both an underground and overhead setting
- knowledge and accreditation for working with the Openreach PIA product
- demonstrable knowledge within the Construction, telecommunication and/or Utilities industry
- full UK Driving License
