Responsibility

  • lightMedia is looking for several new Junior Web Developers to help grow our talented, award-winning development team
  • we are an expanding web consultancy and digital media house based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire
  • the consistent high quality of our work has ensured a steady stream of referrals to grow the business
  • your role would be to develop bespoke systems for our clients using web technologies
  • as an ambitious and growing company with a full order book into next year, we are looking for people who want to develop their skills and career in a professional working environment with a close team-spirit
  • to help you with this, you'll receive coaching and support from the rest of our experienced technical team
  • we have a large and varied client base in areas ranging from local culture , to corporate organisations, to the NHS and national medical societies
  • this will include planning and implementing solutions from provided functional specifications and visual designs, by adapting and extending our in-house, award-winning CMS and CRM framework to fit each client's unique business requirements

Requirements

  • an object-oriented programming language such as C# or Java
  • creating and using databases - practical experience of using either MySQL or Microsoft SQL would be an advantage
  • web technologies including CSS and JavaScript, which you’re able to demonstrate with your own examples
