Requirements

  • technicians should be apprentice, BTEC NVQ Level 3 trained and ideally have 2 years’ experience in maintaining vehicles
  • knowledge and experience of HGV Regulations in preparing vehicles to MOT standards is desirable although not essential
  • A current driving license is essential
  • strong fault-finding skills
  • excellent attention to detail
  • good communicator
  • team members must be able to understand safe working procedures and apply recognised safety practices to each task they are undertaking including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment
  • team members must be self-motivated and highly flexible.They are required to work unsupervised and deliver a first-class customer service in accordance with departmental goals
