Working hours

Responsibility
- oversee all aspects of the kitchen operation, including food preparation, cooking, and service
- order kitchen materials and ingredients based on the menu and market demand
- supervise kitchen staff and train them on proper food preparation and safety procedures
- maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, ensuring the team follow preventive maintenance measures
- conduct weekly inventories and ensure that adequate inventory levels are maintained
- work with management to create and trial menu items, pricing, and portion sizes
- develop and implement new ways to improve kitchen efficiency
- ensure that all food items are prepared and served according to the restaurant's standards, and in compliance with HACCP food safety procedures
Requirements
- strong organisational and time management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, including HACCP
- ability to develop and monitor critical control points , conducting hazard analyses, and maintaining accurate records
- willingness to be hands-on and cook and clean as needed
- 2+ years of experience in a senior kitchen staff role, preferably with management experience
- kitchen management: 1 year
