Responsibility
- reporting to the Directors, the General Manager is an integral part of a small senior leadership team
- additional responsibilities include new business development, people management, H&S management, budgetary control and the overall execution of the business development plan
- you will be primarily responsible for the overall operational day to day running of the business including logistics, purchasing, staff planning and sales team management
Requirements
- experience in health and safety, food safety, risk assessment and training
- proven track record in management in a similar environment
- direct experience of P&L management and budget ownership
- financially astute, understands the necessity for cost control and how to drive sales
- A strategic and continuous improvement approach to operations management
- actively seek out new business opportunities
