Requirements

  • possess knowledge and understanding of skill acquisition and long-term athlete development principles
  • reports to: Academy Manager

Responsibility

  • to plan and deliver an engaging, relevant curriculum of development for rugby players and coaches
  • to coordinate delivery with S&C, medical and lifestyle practitioners
  • to ensure professional standards of player welfare and safeguarding at all sessions
  • to support the coaching and holistic development of Leicester Tigers ACE and Academy players at Brooksby College
  • to assist the LTAcM in identifying players for Academy squads
  • to oversee the player identification and nomination process for the Leicester Tigers DPP
  • to attend England Rugby/ACE and industry related conferences and/or other CPD opportunities as directed by the LTAcM
  • to carry out other Junior, Senior and/or Academy related duties as requested by the LTAcM
